She regularly teaches about D.I.S.C. to individuals of all ages because of how positively it has impacted her Home, Business & Life in general.
Lisa Perez, founder of HBL Resources & The Complete Manager Makeover Memberships & Training platform, she has nearly 30 years of HR experience and is the recipient of a 2020 Silver Stevie Award for Entrepreneur of the Year. She is a Certified BridgeBuilder® Trainer who facilitates Generational Diversity in the Workplace, a DISC Certified Human Behavior Specialist and holds two nationally recognized HR certifications. Lisa volunteers for Broward S.C.O.R.E., her local Chamber of Commerce, Broward County’s KIDS AND THE POWER OF WORK (KAPOW) Program and Oasis Church of Pembroke Pines. She speaks at various state conferences, chambers, and associations.
Currently writing, “The Complete Manager Makeover: Transforming the HUMAN in Human Resources,” Lisa’s goal is to eradicate the statistic indicating employees don’t leave companies, they leave bad managers. Her mission is “To ensure that, regardless of the conversation being held, every individual walks out of a manager’s office with their dignity intact”.
Prior to forming her consulting company, Lisa served as the VP of Human Resources for a Miami based hotel Management Company operating 21 hotels in six states & Puerto Rico and was also the Director of HR for the 1,200-room Fontainebleau Hilton Resort in Miami Beach, FL. Her commitment to growth and development was exemplified early in her career, when she started in hospitality as a front desk clerk, progressed within the HR discipline and accomplished the role of Corporate Director of Recruitment and Succession Planning within 10 years. Lisa is originally from Brooklyn, NY, she is a wife, mom, grandma, and craft geek.
