Meet Susan Capurso, a Wife and Mother of 2 Young Boys who unexpectedly, was thrust into a world of overwhelming chaos and disbelief. A two year rollercoaster ride, led her down a road filled with discovery and a vision to take away your “fear of the unknown”. Susan Capurso is an End of Life Doula, Legacy Creator and Author. During the last 15 months, she has published two books and one ebook, helped others to leave their thumbprint in the world through creative legacy and guided individuals and their families during their own End of Life journey, spiritually, emotionally, practically and holistically.

Susan is Certified as an End of Life Doula, Senior Specialist and Advanced Directive Consultant attained by Doulagivers in NYC. She is a Certified Patient Advocate with Pulse, a nonprofit on Long Island and on Stony Brook Hospitals Patient Advocacy Council. Susan is a Hospice Volunteer on Long Islands East End at East End Hospice and takes part in Bereavement workshops. She is on the board for the National Aging in Place Council and gives back to Long Island Communities through many workshops and events. Susan is an Adjunct Professor with Stony Brook University Hospital in providing CE Credits to Social Workers.
Susan presents several workshops throughout Long Island on “Creative Legacy Work”, “End of Life Rituals and Vigils” and “Celebrating Life and Legacy” for private groups, facilities, nonprofits and organizations Island-wide. Author of “Remember Me – The Story of My Life” and “Before You Go.” Her third publication, “Coming Full Circle – When the Diagnosis is Terminal” is soon to be released!
